Hello from W. North Carolina

I'm southernlady (aka Liz). My husband and I are retired. We just traded up to a motorcoach. Got a deisel pusher, a 2001 Newmar Dutch Star 3852 with less than 27,000 miles in great shape. One previous owner. Still haven't picked it up, just signed the paperwork yesterday.

We started with a popup which lasted one trip (a three week trip tho). Loved the lifestyle but needed something bigger. We had a Keystone Outback Terrain in between the pop up and this one now.

Anyway, our first trip in our new to us class A will be a trip to see the grandkids in AL. Not towing this trip, have access to a vehicle there. But will be towing my Buick Verano on a tow dolly.

We won't be full timing it but plan on using it as often as possible.

We have 7 cats (who stay home) and 2 Jack Chi's who love to ride. And they will travel with us.

I look forward to learning all I can and to give back when I can.

Liz

Hi Liz,

Welcome to the forum for both you and hubby. Congratulations on the rig. Sounds like a nice one.

Welcome! You'll have to bring that fine coach down to the lake and visit us.

Lake Greenwood

Anytime is good for a visit, but we, and most of the owners, won't start getting there before April. By then we should be able to arrange to get you out on the lake too!

While I do fine out on a lake, my husband is not one for the water.
