Hello from Yuma, Arizona area!

I am new to this site but have lived full time in various rigs in the desert here. I boondock exclusively ande have recently moved up to an old {1978} Pace Arrow. I am close enough to Mexico that I bicycle there almost every day.

John

Hi John! Welcome to the forum.

Where in Mexico do you go on your bike? I have relatives in San Luis, which is pretty much across the border from Yuma. (I'm in San Diego, btw.) Was just curious what you do or where you go on your bicycle when you cross. Sounds like a bike crossing could be an interesting thing to try the next time I'm in the area visiting the relatives. :-)

When you re-enter the U.S. am guessing you use the pedestrian gate -- any problems coming back on your bike?

Hi

I am on the west side of the river so I almost never hear of anything in the Foothills but I would try Craigs list. I do hear of places in Algodones though....

I go to Algodones. It is smaller and nicer than SLRC.

It is well worth a trip or ten..

Oddly, as of tomorrow, we do have to go through the pedestrian lane rather than the car lane. As far as I know, this is the only border crossing changing policy.

I am enjoying my life and this sie as well. Each day I try to make some` progress on his 1978 Pace Arrow. Last night I got he 5KW BGA generator running so I now have air conditioning. I was 114 degrees so it was nice!
