Well, I am getting back into rv'ing after almost 30 years. I did a lot of hiking and tent camping in between. Many years ago I had a Sterner 12 slide in camper so I figured I would go with what I knew and just purchased a 1995 Fleetwood Elkhorn 11 foot side entry slide in camper. I don't even have it home yet and I am having second thoughts! I am finding out there is NO support for truck campers any more. I can't even find a supplier for the rubber around the windows.

There's got to be a supplier for that. Just have to find the right source. There still seem to be a lot of slip in truck campers running down the road. At least in MN I think. Don't they use an inflateable thing now between the truck and camper? Great you've gotten it and can get into some camping now.

The window in question is the one on the cabover up front. That is why I worry about it because it gets all of the force of the rain while driving. There are no RV dealers that handle PU campers in NJ. The closest I have been able to find is Delaware which isn't to bad but I have to run back and forth with samples of everything I need. If anyone knows of a good place that stocks stuff for slide ins and is knowlegable about them be sure to let me know.
