Hello, I recently retired and just bought a Dutch Star

I have recently retired and bought a 2000 Dutch Star. Have had various destination trailers since 1980. Looking forward to snowbirding this winter.

Thanks for the welcome

Thanks for the welcome. I've been reading the forums for a while. Tons of good info here. Going to start posting to the Newmar forum as I have some questions about my new to me Dutch Star.

Welcome,
We had a 1999 DS and loved it. They build a nice unit. How many miles on it and is everything working the way you want it? We had a nice slide that dropped down into the floor so it was level. I don't know if that idea is still around but it worked well for us.
