hello - newbie from Oregon

first time rver. just bought an '83 Tioga Class C 21 ft. est. Ford 460 Chassis. Hope this forum can help me become a seasoned rver. Can any one out there with 83 Tioga class C experience mentor me on becoming familiar with all of the basic systems. I seriously need help locating parts etc.

I bought the rv to ferry my band around to gigs in the NW - we are a touring band and I'll send a free CD to anyone who can give me some sage advice from time to time.

thanks so much in advance.

Ross, welcome to iRV2. Check out the Vintage RV Owners Forum here and introduce yourself. Lots of good advice here.

As for manuals and parts, the chassis is a regular Ford E350 chassis with the normal engine and transmission. The appliance, heater, frig, stove, A/C and furnace are all standard components that you can get some manuals online and most RV stores can get you the parts for them.

If you have some specific questions, post it in the Vintage or the general motorhome forums.

The Tioga is owned by Fleetwood and you may be able to get some electrical diagrams and such from them.

Ken

Welcome Ross!

I've only been with the iRV2 for a few months and I love it. Everyone is very nice and the collected wealth of knowledge is staggering!! No question, that I have had, has ever been left unanswered. And at no time has anyone made me feel like my newbie question was silly.

Sheila :)
