I was directed to this great forum by a friend giving advice on towing a Jeep. What a jackpot of info!
A little background. I sold my business few months back and purchased an '08 Dynamax 34XL and a 4 door Rubicon to tow behind. The wife and I are new to motorhoming but long time outdoor enthusiasts, camping fishing hiking etc. After a few shake down trips it's off to Alaska and hopefully a trip of a lifetime.
Thanks to all that take their time to respond to and share their experience.

SteveA;

Welcome to IRV2. You have a very intelligent friend who has given you great advice. Don't be afraid to ask questions. Post often and let us know how your trip to Alaska is going. That has always been a dream of mine.

Hi Steve and welcome. We are new too, we just sold our business also and are in the process of deciding what RV we want to buy.
Enjoy Alaska, that is also a dream of ours, and keep us posted on your journies.
