Smile Hello to all from Tucson, Arizona

Terry and Rose here. After 28 outstanding years in the Navy and 23 years in private industry, mostly in Labor Relations, I finally joined Rose in retirement in March 2014. A few months later we stumbled into a good deal on a one owner, low mileage 2007 Journey 34 SE. Took us about a day to donate that old tent we've been camping in since we got married 44 years ago.

Since then we've rectified that low mileage issue, just about saturating all the western states from the southern border to the other one. Along the way we have accomplished major renovations on the interior - not needed, but just to make it ours. Have built a sizable network of great people. Although Tucson is home-base, we are loving making those big wheels go 'round. Met a Canadian couple at Lake Patagonia who gave us the perfect response to our kids -- Miss Winnie feeds four, but she only sleeps two.

Stumbled again a few weeks ago -- into this site. Over the interim period have gleaned a lot of good tips. Looking fwd to more and perhaps chiming in ourselves from time to time. Perhaps we'll meet on the road somewhere, in the meantime, Fair Winds and Following Seas!

Welcome. Sounds like you are living the plan. We just left Tucson last week ending a 3 month trek across the south.

Welcome to iRV2. In our coach we told the kids "this rig only sleeps grandparents and granddaughters".

Looking forward to your input and general comments. Sounds like you have a great positive outlook on life!

Welcome Terry & Rose !!!

Welcome Terry & Rose!!

We are all glad you are here!!!

First we all thank you for your dedicated military service !!! I always enjoy reading stories from military careers. My Father-in-law was a Navy man from back in the 50's-60's. Our neighbor down the street from us has told me many Navy stories from back in that era also. I enjoy all of them.

When I was at the Air Force Sr NCO Academy, a fellow class mate was a Senior Chief medic on a Sub. I thought it would be interesting to do a military swap and have some time on a sub or a boat. But then again, hard to talk a Navy guy into going Air Force huh.. lol

Again, welcome and thank you!!
Enjoy your retirement!! You both have earned and well deserve it

Blessings
James & Trina
