Hello to you all!

Hi!,
I have just joined iRV2.
My name is Craig, and I live on the Isle of Man, UK. (Between England and Ireland).
I have an Itasca Sunrise, 2003 origin, and me and my family love it. We have been RVing for just 2 years, and living by the sea we chill out in the RV as often as we can, between travels to England and Europe.
I would full time, but, her indoors isn't so sure.
I am a retired prison guard, and former trucker.
Look forward to chatting with you sometime.

Craig.

Oh yes!
That is where the TT races are held, and most of the islanders love the racing. It is, as you say, awesome. It has just been held, and finished last saturday. Fantastic!
One lap of the public roads course is 37.73 miles, and it is covered in 17 minutes 13 seconds, average speed 130+ miles an hour, times this by the 6 laps of the main race and you have a 226 miles race, with 2 pit stops, it is frightening!!!

Hi Craig, welcome to IRV2. We are so glad you joined us. Would love to see some pictures of some of your travels. I know I will never get across the ocean to see the places you enjoy. Safe travels.

Thank you all for your welcomes, and when i can get my laptop working properly i will show you some photos of our travels with pleasure. At present, i cannot retrieve any photos, so my Apple has to go to the doctors.

Craig:

A warm welcome from an ex-pat Lancastrian (originally from Leyland) now in the top left-hand corner of the US.

It mst be an expensive proposition to take your RV on the ferry to Heysham or Liverpool everytime you go out. I would imagine that one season would about cover everything on the island.

Hi, yes the cost from the IOM to Heysham is around 400 return. Leyland hasn't changed, and I would think you did the right thing moving over there.
Have you been an ex-pat long?

Craig
