Hello to the group. My DH and I are planning (if the market picks back up) to full time in a few years. We just purchased a 2001 Carriage Cameo 35CK and a 1995 Ford F350 dually with all the bells and whistles for pulling. Can't wait to try it out! We used to camp alot and then life got in the way. Looking forward to getting back out there!

I've been lurking (I know, I'm shy) on the site for a while now and have decided that it is one of the best. Looking forward to all the information that comes through. Everyone here seems very friendly.

If anyone out there has any info on the 2001 Cameo, we'd appreciate any advise and tips.

Thanks!

Welcome to iRV2, Ron & Karen. Glad to have you here. Please post often about your travels & don't hesitate to ask questions.

I see you're from OH. There's a pretty active group of us from C & NE OH/W PA & W NY that get together often during the rv-ing season. We post our whereabouts/campouts in the North Central/Pond Piggie Forums. Pop on over there & if you see any you can make it to, we'd love to have you join us. Usually, one or more of us posts about a campground we'll be at & if others can join, the more the merrier. If not, we catch up somewhere down the road. It'll be pretty quiet on those forums now, since the season is over & most of us have already put our rigs to bed for the winter, but watch for updates when the weather breaks.

Also, we'd really like you to come to our 2009 National Rally. It's being held in OH & would be a great place for you to meet several of us. Plus, I guarantee you'll have a good time! Click here for some details on the Rally & to pre-register.

Hope to see you at the Rally &/or meet up with you sometime.

How is it one careless match can start a forest fire but it takes a whole box to start a campfire?

Hello everyone-another "newbie" here (to IRV2). Been enjoying all of the comments for several months now and it's painful to have an answer/suggestion and just have to sit there! So here we are!

And we are so glad you finally joined so you can post. WELCOME!
I happen to know our member who has your screen name (less the 1). He rescues greyhounds after they no longer race. You too?

Hi edgray & thanks for the welcome! No, mine was not because of such a noble cause...my 38B Suncruiser just looked like a greyhound to us (it's Bluff Ridge full body-grey), but as you know someone had it so I just added the 1. Hope they don't mind!

Ed- I'm thinking since someone already had the name it might be better to make more of an obvious difference-so as not to step on any toes...I've tried to change my screen name to mygrayhound...and my MH is a 37 B not a 38 B-hey I'm new at this!

Hope this doesn't cause problems?
