Hey Guys!
Hello all, just joined the forum after lurking for a month or so. I've found so much value here I decided I'd better join up!
I'm currently full-timing in my new-to-us Komfort 28' TT. I work in pipeline construction and do quite a bit of full-timing.
We have a very old 5th wheel - we bought it and remodeled the interior a few years ago and I've even spent a couple of coooold winters in it. I'd have to kick my boots in the morning because they had frozen to the floor overnight!
My wife and I also full-timed together in it for 6 months - in a warmer climate over the summer - and ultimately found it to be too narrow. We needed a slide out! So this spring I went shopping on the net and found a 28' Komfort travel trailer in pretty good shape. It came with skirts, and the owner had replaced the flooring with a nice laminate wood.
I'm now full-timing in it while working away from home. I'm loving the extra room, but finding the bedroom a little cramped compared to the 5th wheel. No biggie, except my feet hang over the edge of the "short queen" sized bed!
I'm planning on starting a mods thread to track what has been done, both by the PO, and myself. Hopefully I'll be able to contribute a bit, and pay back what I've learned here already!
