Just joined this forum. Been reading the Escapees forum and RV.net for a while.

Nikki and I started out camping in a tent, then moved up to a Volkswagon conversion van (not pop-up) with the kids in the tent (tents when they got older). Then moved up to an older 19 ft. ElDorado motorhome. Finally arrived at our present Jayco Greyhawk 24SS new in 2002.

We love it. Go out couple of times per month and find it refreshing.

Now that the kids are young adults, they normally don't go with us, but we try to have at least one family campout where we all go together as the kids have fond memories of our family campouts growing up!

We live in Maple Valley Washington, SE of Seattle. So we won't be going to the Lancaster PA rally.

This next weekend we're planning to go out to Klaloch on the Olympic Penninsula. It's a NP campground on the ocean.
