Just wanted to say Hello. My DW and I are about ready to retire and going to buy an RV of some kind in the next two years and start traveling. We will probably ask a lot of silly questions so, please bear with us.

Thanks in advance!
Bob

GoldWingRyder welcome to irv2.
You have come to the right place before planking that check down.
No question is silly when it comes down to money and its best to know what your getting yourself into. Biggest mistake people make is to come here to ask after they buy and we can't correct their mistake its to late. You have not said yet what your interested in but we have many different forums of MFG's and chassis. Tons of reading to get you started so you will have some idea of what to ask when the time comes.
The forum is all open to you so enjoy and do post often.

If you can think of a question, someone around here will have a good answer. Ask while you're thinking, ask when you're buying, ask after you get going. There are lots of things to consider and they will usually come up when you don't want them to. Do you have any experience with camping or RV's? Explore these forums and get a feel for the types of RV's others have and usually enjoy. See what kinds of problems they have and you can hope to avoid. Visit some showrooms and some RV shows. Keep posting. Where are you and what do you enjoy doing?

Bob, welcome to iRV2.com. We are glad to have you join us here and look forward to helping answer your questions. My suggestion is to take it slow. If you have never RVd before you may want to rent a type that you think you may like first. If you know what you will be doing and how you will us it then this will help determine the type. Good luck and enjoy the hunt.
