Hi all newbie

We just purchased 2009 Coachman Freelander 14k 3500 Mercedes diesel. My wife and I are getting or feet wet and so far I am ready to dive in love every minute we are out. Of course I wanted to go much bigger but she was having panic attacks thinking about driving one so I settled for a 24 ft. The coach is very adequate for the 2 of us and our Yorkie who is also not to thrilled about the ride but he is getting better. We are planning a trip to New Orleans next week and I am looking forward to our first long trip. We have camped locally several time but sure it will be much different away form home. There are a few issues that need ironing out and hopefully my question will be answered here in the forums. There is so much information out there that we are trying to absorb my head hurts. We actually joined Coachnet 2 times without realizing it to funny. Hopefully we will learn the ropes and in a year be able to go full time which is what our plans are. Looking forward to figuring it all out and meeting new peoples as we head out on a new adventure in life it sure goes by fast. Happy trails.

And enjoy the ride. If you have any questions just ask. If you have tips to help others make sure you post them also. I can use all the help you can offer!

Welcome! We have a Winnebago on the 3500 Mercedes Chasis

Hope you learn to like/enjoy your rig as much as we do.

We have been out over 120 nights since June 1. No bad nights, and looking forward to the next.
