Hi everyone!

My name is Janice and my little dog Bandit and I begin all of our journeys from and return to a little grandma house in the Salt Lake City area.

We've been RVing for a little over a year now, and because I cannot afford to "travel" (read: drive-and-stop, drive-and-stop) in my 36' 2000 Holiday Rambler Vacationer, I volunteer for one of the various federal "services" (Park, Forest, Wildlife) in exchange for hookups so that I can live in a beautiful place for an extended period of time. I love becoming part of a community and making friends across the country.

I was widowed nearly three years ago, and because my (older) husband had 30 years in with the state when he died, I am able to receive his pension while still young enough to take full advantage of it.

So I quit my job, and in a widow's frenzy bought and lost money on two motorhomes (Classes B and C) before getting lucky (I hope) with my Class A (LOL!).

I've been posting at RV.net and Open Road Singles, and saw a reference to irv2. I love this site and hope to get to you many of you.

Hi Janice,

Welcome to iRV2. You will find many resources here, and you just might make a friend or two as well.

If interested, why not pop in to the iRV2 Chatters chat room. We are there just about every evening starting around 8:30pm eastern. It is a fun group and many of us have met several times in various places around the country.
