We have a 2005 Diplomat and have enjoyed reading this forum. We cook in BBQ contests and are currently in Decatur, AL for a couple of months. Several contests are held over the next few weeks in north Alabama and Tennessee. Our home is Ocala, FL. Hope to attend one of the rallys when our schedule permits.

Bill;

Let me be the first to welcome you to IRV2. You have found the friendliest site on the Internet IMHO. Post often and keep us up to date on your travel experiences. I would be willing to bet that MonacoMama will be along shortly to give you some Monaco Karma if you want it.

Bill Schmitt,

It's great to have you here with us at iRV2.com!

FWIW - The spelling of your family name, while not rare, is not seen too often. On my mother's side my great-grandfather, Sebastian Schmitt came to the USA from Laufach, Germany.

Again, welcome to the forum.
