Hi Whatroad, and welcome to iRV2. I have found this to be a fantastic website and forum and have had many of my questions about my RV and camping answered here--I hope you will too.

At some point you might like to add info about your RV and any personal stuff you want to share to your "signature".

I'm located at Lake Berryessa, and there are several other members from around the Bay Area--maybe one time we should all plan to meet together somewhere for a local camping trip. Any others interested?

Welcome to iRV2, whatroad. We lived in San Jose, off Saratoga & 280, for 13 years (retired in 1999 from Foothill-DeAnza CCD) and 10 years in Novato prior to that. We left the busyness of the Bay Area to (1) enjoy our retirement, and (2) to be able to travel whenever we want to rather than plan our trips around Bay Area commute times.

Enjoy your time here and we look forward to your contributions.

Paul Heuvelhorst,

I live in that same area off of Doyle. I actually went to DA in 1995.

Ever been to the Bill Of Fare restaurant? My parents own that place.

Welcome to the IRV2 forum, Whatroad! You will find all sorts of useful & fun information here!

We are formerly from the east bay area - but have been in the Sacramento area for over 25 years now.

Gary - What a great dea to have a "mini" IRV2 gathering for the locals. My time off is limited but if it works with my schedule - we'll be there!

ANYONE ELSE??

I can't say that I have, although as much as my wife & I ate out when we lived in the area I'm sure we were there at least once.

Had a look at your website. Who owns the TrailManor in your Bridgeport folder? We bought a new 1998 TM 2619 while we lived in SJ, moving up from an 82 Coleman Tent Trailer. Really enjoyed our travels around the country for 3 years before we decided to move up to our present trailer.

The Trailmanor belongs to my friend. They don't take it out much and I am always trying to get them to go. We all have small kids now so I expect the trips to few until they get a little bigger.

Actually I talked them into going to yosemite this june with us.

I'd be down for a local bay area irv2 rally.
