It's my last week of the summer since my sons start football and practice is important. (We'll be driving them in during the week for at least one practice as well...)

Just curious as to the last time you saw campers on the beach. I know I've seen them but that was a few years ago. The woman at the party over the weekend scared us by saying they no longer allow overnight camping on the outer beach. In fact, she said there was no overnight camping on any LI beach anymore.

On a side note, what other beaches allow you to camp out on them?

The Texas Boomers started a few years ago with just a few couples and we now regularly have 30 rigs at rallys and Madame Boomer will sometime have to limit rigs to 50. My point is, there are two couples looking for a "group" so why don't the four of you start a "group". "The 495 Rv'ers". "The Hampton's Rv'er's". Oh...y'all get my point I hope.
