John & Stephanie from eastern L.I. we have a 24' fleetwood M/H converted to 4 wheel drive we use on the beaches at home & a 34' montana 5th wheel for longer trips, pulled by a dodge 3500 diesel. Hope to get some questions answered, & who knows after having R.V.s for over 30 yrs. we may even be able to offer something. HI TO ALL.

Welcome to IRV2. I'd love to see photos of that 'converted' Fleetwood.

Hi fellow Long Islanders,

You've found a great group of extremely knowledgable and sharing folks.

Do much camping on L.I.? We belong to a camping club and frequent Wildwood State Park, Smiths Point and Heather Hills. Great times with little driving.

Hard to beleive it's time to make all our Summer reservations!

All of our camping during the summer is dry camping in Montauk on the beach. My son camps in Wildwood with his young family in a pop up, & yes reservations are becoming a problem. I'll try & post some photos of the M/H as soon as I figure out how, or a child shows me. Thanks for the interest, it's a 24' class C on a Ford chassis, powerstroke diesel, converted to 4 w/d by Quigley in Pa.
