Hi from Newbie RVers in Arizona

Hi Everybody,

My wife Suzanne and I just upgraded to a travel trailer after years of tent camping! We live in Prescott, which is in Arizona's Central Highlands.

We enjoy getting off of the beaten path some of the time, so after much research (and looking at pop-ups, hard-sided pop-ups, and hybrid travel trailers), we settled on a Creek Side 20FQ model TT by Outdoors RV Manufacturing in Oregon.

Outdoors RV is a "sister company" to Northwood Manufacturing (Nash and Arctic Fox). The Creek Side has an off-road chassis, and they are very well insulated, and loaded with features.

Since there are no Outdoors RV dealers in Arizona, we had to drive to LA to buy the TT (got a smokin' deal from Niel's RV in North Hills), and camped at Sam's RV Resort in Desert Hot Springs for one night on the way home (nice oasis in the desert).

We love the 20FQ so far! It has a front walk-around queen, and a rear U-shaped dinette surrounded by huge picture windows. A nice kitchen and decent-sized lav round out the "slide-less" floor plan.

So, we are looking forward to good times in our new RV, and good times with the iRV2 forums. Thanks!

P.S I'm going to upload a photo of new TT with truck...

I suggest you lower the light pole before traveling.

Beat me to it. I was going to ask if it came with the light or he added it on.
