Hi From NH; Just Joining the Adventure

Hi All,
I am packing up my 21' TT for my first roadtrip. Woo! I am VERY excited and a TAD nervous. I have always wanted to travel and RV but this is a solo trip which I've never done before. Checking off the list(s) and wondering what I'll forget! haha.
Though I've barely dipped a toe into this pool, I can see myself living the FT life. I'm not quite ready to plant the 4SALE sign, but talk to me when I get back... I would love to hear any input from the community and especially from those who fly solo. Thanks, looking forward to chats!

Hi and welcome to the forum.

We've just left your beautiful state after our very first visit there and have had a great time throughout all of New England.

Be sure to check out our "Solo RVers" forum to connect with other like minded folks and learn from their experiences.

Just take your time and you'll do fine. You've already taken the biggest step by joining this forum. There are a bunch of experienced folks here more than willing to help.

Best of luck.

Rick

Thanks for the welcomes, everyone! I haven't been back to IRV2 for a while (really?) but I have to say my first trip was so so wonder-full! I traveled down the Eastern Shore from 10/17 to 11/19 and except for my kitty girl and a few precious (to me) items, I could have kept on going, lol.
My favorite stops were: Assateague Island SP, MD: biking around the island, paddling in the bay and watching the wild horses. Tybee Island and (visiting) Savannah GA: what a charming place, could have stayed another week. St Augustine: walking the beach for miles every day and being lulled to sleep by the sounds of the surf each night. Homosassa FL: Visiting my friends who live on the Chassahowitzka River, a little slice of heaven. Paddling with the manatees and discovering birder's heaven there, WOW! Gorging on stone crab and shrimp washed down with the local brews. Met lots of nice folks and a couple of other soloer's too.
SO, now I am spending this winter here in NH, getting my home ready for sale next year. I plan to be a fully-fledged nomad by end of 2013! Very excited, pumped, jazzed, and ALL THAT
