Now I couldn't tell you who loves it more! We have 4 kids (ages 25, 22, 18, and 14) but only The younger two camp with us, and they don't come along all that often. One of our cats loves to camp, and he's much easier to take along than teenagers. We have so many plans for this summer, and I can't wait to dewinterize and get started!

Hello and welcome to the forum Wendyly. Oregon has so much to offer to those that love the outdoors. I lived in Astoria for while as a child when my father was stationed at Tongue Point. The Navy has since decommissioned that base, but the Coast Guard remains. My internal compass has always pointed to the Pacific Northwest. It will be our first destination when we retire.
Glad that your DH came around to camping. In our 45 years of marriage I transition my DW from motorcycle/tent to VW Westfalia, to rented travel trailer, brief ownership of a very ancient (not so classy) class A gasser about 25 years ago. DW loves the outdoor and camping. We both eagerly await the build of our "on order" coach and the return to RV'g.
It is time to de-winterize and start making more memories!
Travel safely!
