Hi from Oregon
I joined several years ago when I was starting to look at PopUps as a fun way to get my kids out in the woods. Three years of research and debating later, we bought a 2014 Forest River Solera last spring. I grew up with RVs, but my husband didn't, so he took a long time to come around. Now I couldn't tell you who loves it more! We have 4 kids (ages 25, 22, 18, and 14) but only The younger two camp with us, and they don't come along all that often. One of our cats loves to camp, and he's much easier to take along than teenagers. We have so many plans for this summer, and I can't wait to dewinterize and get started!

Welcome! We had a small RV and up sized to a 35 ft. this year. It is a lot of fun, like a new toy! I wish my cat loved it. She doesn't go with us, so I feel a bit rushed on trips to get back home. She's afraid of noises and dogs, so it's hard to know which is worse for her.
Carry on and happy camping to you!

Welcome!
I grew up around RV's too and my wife used to tent camp. She came around just fine to RV's! And we have 6 cats (did have 7, but...). We take ALL of them with us. Here's our three Japanese Bobtails taking naps on the dash of our previous MH. While out last time we had four on the dash of the Magna and that forth one was a rescue from my sons house that hid in the closet when we first got her. Boy has she blossomed!

Welcome! When our 3 kids were at home, we used to let them each invite one friend to come with them, usually having them take turns on inviting someone. We'd stay in the tent trailer and the kids loved to stay in their own tents. Having a friend with them helped with the teenage boredom. LOL. One time we had 6 teenagers with us. It was actually a lot of fun.

I plan to give the 14 year old several chances to bring friends this summer. The 18 year old is looking for a job, so he will be spending his summer working.
I can't imagine taking 6 cats! We also have 6, but only the one likes it so far. We've started taking another one on short rides to see if he will settle down enough to try an overnight.
