HI from Pasco County Florida

Hi iRV family,
My wife and I just bought a 2008 Holiday Rambler Neptune XL and we really enjoy it. We purchased it in the beginning of May at General RV in Tampa, Florida. Go see Jared Jireau if you need anything--he was a great resource during our search for the RV. Although it is a great coach, it does have some things that we are not wild about. First of all, we have a queen Sleep Number mattress and it does not feel comfortable at all. Maybe we are using a mattress that is too old (doesn't that commercial say you have to replace after 8 years?) or we just don't know how to set the sleep number correctly. The other thing is the map lights do not turn on. Is there a fuse that I need to look at? This is the 4th motorhome we have owned and the 1st diesel coach. The air ride is great--much more comfortable than the non-air suspension we had in our gas RV.
I have a simple question regarding this site. How do I incorporate a picture of our coach into my username display? I am relatively competent with computers but I could not figure that one out.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Welcome, glad to meet you!

Go to UserCP then Signature.

Most pictures have to be loaded from a hosting site such as Photo Bucket.

We are glad you joined us. Your post drew my interest as we usually try and spend close to a month in your county in March each year. We have been going to Quail Run Camp Ground at Wesley Chapel for more than 20 years. It was by luck we camped there on the first day the present owners purchased the property. We became friends and have been going back almost every year. The owners have on several occasions visited us in Wisconsin during their slow period when the snow birds have gone north.

Congratulations on the purchase of your Holiday Rambler. We have a Sleep Number in our coach and we love it. This is our 2nd coach that has had a Sleep Number. Enjoy the forums and don't be afraid to ask questions.

Don

Hey FLman2,
Nice to hear from you. It is so funny that you responded because we actually had a contract on a 2008 Itasca Latitude 39W. We were buying from America RV in Ocala and all of a sudden the rig was gone. They said it had a major engine problem and had to go to the auction immediately--I think they found a buyer that was closer than I was and had a lot of cash to spend. Be that as it may--we ended up with the Holiday Rambler Neptune and are very happy with it.
Where do you like to camp in the central Florida area? We go to Thousand Trails frequently and various parks on the gulf coast. Maybe we will cross paths in the future.
Nice to hear from you. Happy traveling.
