Pentax here (well, that's obvious isnt it?). Heard about this place from another member, who should probably remain anonymous so she doesn't have to shoulder all the blame.

Retired early 3 years ago for health reasons, own a 27' Cardinal 5th wheel which is on a Seasonal lot out on Shuswap Lake. Happily married 33 years, two grown sons living in The Big Smoke (Vancouver).

Hi from Prince George. Know you will enjoy this very friendly, very informative site.

We looked around the North Shuswap for a retirement lot last April. Beautiful area but prices way out of our league unless you wanted to build on a hillside. Settled on lot in Midway down on border.

Where you living when not at 5er?

Welcome Pentax,
There are a lot of very friendly people on this board
Pentax; are we talking rifle scopes or cameras? Either one is top of the line My first SLR was a spotmatic, and I must have 6 or 7 pentax SLR's and a couple of compacts in the former darkroom, now storage room!
Anyway, Welcome,
Loren

Oh cameras, of course! Mine is a 25-year-old K1000; just a model or two after your Spotmatic, I believe. Amazing camera - I swear you could pound nails with that thing, and still take a fine photo.

WillYum, No, while I know Pentax from about 3 forums, I don't think it was anything I said that brought him here, I think it was............. another multiforum soul, & friend of mine.

WillYum, Pentax gave me that link to the BC webcams. I amazed him with how long our snow lasts in the spring via our webcams. You and he are on the same page on that issue. Good for an exchange here and there, that is.

Yes, it was a little dig to the fact that every place in the country has had more snow than us (15'C right now).

Sorry P, didn't mean to hijack.
