I'm new to RV, getting close to retireing. On top of that I found a used low milage National Sea Breeze in Spain, so now it's also an American vehicle for the first time... I have to start thinking in inches and feet . I hope to find info here when there is very little in Europe on larger size motorhomes. Well, what you guys call small (29 ft) is large on this side of the pond .

Me and Wife will tour Northern Scandinavia next summer and then explore the south of Europe when snow reaches us here .

One day I hope to be able to tour the US and Canada in RV for a year, but that is some years away.

Pogust,

Welcome to iRV2. Hopefully you can get the information you need especially when you start planning your US roadtrip!

We have relatives in Switzerland who can't understand how we drive around in a vehicle that is 40 feet long (12+ meters). One of our young cousins joined us for a trip from NJ to Yellowstone and could not comprehend the distances we needed to drive. We drove 15,000 miles last April on a few trips and I described it to our Swiss cousins as driving from Switzerland to Karachi, Pakistan and back!

Enjoy your trips in Scandinavia!

Thanks Guys! Yes there is big bifference between America and Europe when it comes to size of roads and vehicles. Another traffic culture. I been in USA in 82 for 5 weeks holiday so know a little about it. We drove around 5000 km in a hired car then. I always wanted to come back to Yellowstone, and follow the Rockies up into Canada one summer. One day I'll get there....
