Hi there, my name is Anne Speedy and saw your website from a mention from someone on the Boomers Blog.
We own a membership in Hart Ranch RV Resort in Rapid City, SD. If anyone goes near that area, I recommend a visit to Hart Ranch, since it's very deluxe.
We just moved from Jojoba Hills Escapee Park in Southern California, (where we had a lot and Teton Fifth Wheel)
Hubby and I have been fulltiming for 9 years, but just bought a house in East Phoenix area. It is a big adjustment to getting back into a "stick house".
So, we are trying to sell our 2005 Tiffin Phaeton to downsize to a smaller rig.
Happy Trails and Stay Safe

Anne:
Hello, and WELCOME to iRV2. This is a great bunch of folks. You'll like it.
Wife and I have been full timing since 05 and like you folks, we too are members out at Hart Ranch. In fact, we're headed there for an extended stay in late August (after the annual Sturgis crowds). Might you folks be up there?
Anyway, again, WELCOME and we hope to meet up with you somewhere down the road.

Welcome aboard. May I ask why you've decided to stop full timing?

We have been fulltiming for 9 years and have gone lots of places in this beautiful country of ours which I really appreciate. But, since the real estate market is so depressed, right now is the best opportunity to invest in a home. Plus, my husband was diagnosed with macular degenerative disease in his eyes and it's getting hard for him to see to drive. There are about 6 other couples that used to own lots, like us, at the Escapee RV Park in So. California that moved over to this Qeen Creek area near Phoenix since we could buy a relatively new ranch home for $70K to $100K. We have found nothing that cheap in all our travels in the USA.
We still plan on going to Hart Ranch in South Dakota in the Summers, just not this one since we just moved to Arizona.
