Hi! I'm Mudflat.

Hello, new friends!
My screen name is Mudflat (real name is Warren). My wife & I have been RVing for over 30 years. We are very blessed to be retired & can travel as we please. We are volunteers in Texas State Parks as well as US Army Corps of Engineers parks. I love helping other RVers & helping new RVers get off to a good start. One way that I do this is contributing articles & tech tips to This Old Campsite campground recommendations reviews RV Shows RV Articles which is a site that is run by a friend of mine. This site is just a hobby & nobody makes any money with it. We just like helping fellow RVers so please check out some of my articles & let me know what you think.
I'm looking forward to interacting with many of you on this site.
All the best,
Mudflat

Welcome Mudflat.
Back in my riding days if we encountered a female with a little wide backside we would call her a mudflap. Not to her face mind you. A little wider she would be a wide glide.
Your nick name just reminded me of those days. And a lot of those days were in Texas.

Campingman,
I retired as a unit operator at the ExxonMobil refinery in Beaumont, Texas. We used radios for communications so we all got call signs just like the fighter pilots. I was assigned "Mudflat" because of a very unfortunate plumbing related incident in the men's room back in 1993 that I SWEAR I had nothing to do with. 😳😬🤣

Nick names good or bad have a way of sticking with you. I have had several, lol. I drove tanker truck when I lived in Corpus."80's" Hauled out of all the refineries down there. I miss South Texas.
