Hi new here...

Hello, brand new to rv'ing. Hubby is in the navy and we couldn't sell our house so we we bought a travel trailer to move to VA so we can be together during his shore duty. I'll post photos soon...it's a work in progress. My first (of many to come) questions is...the tt has 30amp hook up some of the places we are looking at have 50amp only...can we just use a 30 to 50 adaptor (less then $5) is that okay and safe to do without changing anything???

Welcome aboard and yes there are adapters available although I've never ran across one that cheap. Here is an example that I have used:

Worldwide Merchandise Company - 50 Amp Male to 30 Amp Female Adapter with Handle - Electrical Adapters - Camping World

Have fun getting set up and don't be bashful about asking questions.

Welcome to the forum. Hope you enjoy it. In answering your question the 50 amp to 30 amp adapter is perfectly fine.
