Hello everyone. My name's Jim and the DW is Carolyn. We have a small terrier mix - Sandy the 'wonder dog'. That's our immediate family.

Carolyn and I have been married for six years and we have three grown children (2 girls and a boy) and 9 grandchildren ranging from 2 to 18 years. No, this isn't the first marriage for either of us.

We currently live south of Atlanta, GA on an 18-hole golf course. Carolyn's retired and I'm planning on hanging it up in July - or sooner if we can sell the house.

We intend to go fulltime as soon as we can sell the house and buy the 5er and the truck. We've pretty much settled on a Ford F450 Superduty Dually for the hauler, but we're still trying to figure out which 5er we want to buy.

Right now we're considering either an Excel or a New Horizons - either one in the 34 foot range. We've considered bigger rigs, but for just the three of us (and the occasional visiting grandkids) that's all the room we're going to need.

That's about it. Glad to be aboard. Hope to see you all on the road. And, if you know someone who's looking to settle down in the south, and who loves golf, drop me a note. Thanks.

Not from experience but just observation, you may want to look into the Hitchhiker by NuWa.

My mom and her significant other just retired into the Champagne edition towed by a Ford F450 Lariat. I am a "Ford Guy" and love the truck.

They did almost a year of research before deciding on the NuWa product. It was a very good decision as I think they are well built. Make sure whichever model you decide on that they are built for fulltiming.

Good Luck!
