Howdy from Bakersfield, CA

Been rv'ing since 1996, camping all my life. Started out with a 19ft Terry tag ended up with a 40 foot fifth wheel toy hauler. We like to off road about once a month and the older I get the more work it is to unload as soon as we arrive at our destination. So I decided to go class a with enclosed trailer in tow. Can't wait to get this next stage in our rv adventure started.

Great...another off-roader coming over and destroying our home... Just kidding, of course as we too enjoy taking our quads out into the desert (Spangler Hills) and having fun. Our house is located with nothing but the BLM directly behind us, so we have direct access to Rademacher Hills and Spangler after that.

Congrats on your new toy...enjoy!

Ron

ps...try to stick to existing trails and always clean up your area before leaving.

Love riding at Spangy, haven't been there since last Feb. sold my Hauler when we got back. So I can't wait to head back out. Usually off Stevens mine rd. or up Trona Rd. to the top by the lone tree, or Charlie's Place. You have probably crossed paths with our group. Kamprats.
Just wanted a beater MOHO for now to get used to it and see how we like it. If it's a go, we will get a bigger one later, and newer.

Actually, I grew up in Trona when it was the main town in that area...nothing, I mean nothing, at all like it is today. If you're over at Charlies (we called it the Wagon Wheel back in the day), head east over to the Trona railroad tracks and then follow the tracks north (towards Trona) over to the Trona Pinnacles. Lots of movies made there including Planet of the Aps.

Maybe we'll meet up out in the boonies some day. Have fun.

Ron
