Hi! New member from Colorado. I love this site! I have loved RV's, campers, trailers since my youth during the 70's. I am somewhat "obsessed" with them and I own 1 11' Mitchell slide-in truck camper that is all original and mint(after several hours of man hours), 1 '73 22' Great Divide travel trailer restored to original and mint, 1 '88 Lance 11'3" LC 780 slide-in truck camper that is also mint. The '79 camper sits on a '72 F250 2WD Camper Special, Sport Custom w/390 2bbl, C6 automatic, 76K miles that I purchased from the original 76 year old owner and it is all original. Excellent condition but the paint has worn thin so will need a new paint job. The '88 Lance camper sits on a '90 F250 2WD, Supercab, XLT Lariat w/460 and 48K original miles. Truck is mint. My wife thinks I'm a little nuts with owning all of these campers/trucks,etc. My 16 yo son and I plan to put the 72 Ford and Mitchell in the Denver RV show next year to show. I'm looking to buy a vintage Class C from the late 70's as my next toy. I love this site and love looking at all the vintage pictures as well as reading the terrific restoration threads.
