Howdy from Phoenix

Marilyn and I retired here a few years ago. We are from Olympia, WA. and relocated to Phoenix to learn to appreciate the rain.

We have camped in tents, pop-ups and more recently in our Jayco Sport 165 travel trailer. Our camping activities include annual trips to Ketchum, ID. and Seattle, WA. to visit sons; plus fall and spring trips to Corpus Christi, TX. (Padre Island National Seashore) for windsurfing. This summer we are planning a trip to Norfolk, VA.

I also participate in RV.Net forum and Jayco Owners forum and look forward to participating here.

Welcome. I have a friend that retired from Oregon State Forestry Service and moved to PHX for the same reason. He is loving it. If you get a chance, check out the Parker, AZ area along the Colorado River. We were there in Oct and loved it. There are some nice state parks on the River and on Lake Havasu as well.
