I think this is my first post, didn't realize I had registered a few years ago. We just purchased a 2005 Keystone (made in Oregon) Sprinter 274, picked it up this week. This is our fourth TT, but 1st with a slide. Gotta say I like the layout. Tow it with my 2002 Dodge w/cummins, tows it very nicely I might add. Just wanted to say hello, and maybe see some of you guys out there enjoying the fruits of your labor.

Take care,

Casey

Hey there Ed. I've been up to enjoying life watching my daughter grow up right before my eyes. We had our first TT when she was 2 y.o., remember one time camping at Cachuma lake, it was our first trip. Spend most of our trips at Oak Glen up in the mtns, wife loves it, I love the ocean and beach. Now that the daughter is a teenager, friends must accompany us, so we needed a larger trailer. Got into ham radio a while back and into diesel trucks. Love to fish, neighbor is my fishing buddy. With the new addition of the TT, I hope we spend more time camping, kids grow up too fast, before I know it, she'll be off to college, then? Wife was rear ended on the freeway almost a year ago, fractured a couple of vertebrae, turned our world upside down. The kid that hit her, didn't have insurance and gave false info to the CHP. She is feeling better, so I think this will help us get out, only went camping once last year before the accident. Now if diesel fuel will not go up too high, I think we can get out there and have fun.

First thing I added to the trailer was my old electric tongue jack, long story about the jack and what brought that about, but I love it. Hopefully I can learn a few things from you guys. Well, I babbled enough. First shake down trip is next weekend. Guess where we are going? It's not the beach,

Take care,

Casey

Glad to see you rediscovered us. Always glad to have another Cummins driver to help keep RustyJC and Ken L. company.

Welcome Casey. I have many fond memories of Lake Cachuma. Some time around 1957 I bought a used outboard and infected a lot of people with the fishing and water skiing infection. Pulled it with a 1956 Belair Convertible.

One incident was when my step-mother drove the boat the first time. I guess she thought it was like driving the LA Freeways. She zoomed up to the dock and impaled the boat with a horizonal pole. Guess she thought it had brakes. Art

Thanks guys, I see RustyJC and Ken over on the TDR all the time. Art that was a funny story. This place feels like your sitting around the campfire with a bunch of friends. Thanks.

Casey, wow that hurt...You will see RustyJC and Ken L over on TDR, not this Ken. My PSD would leave home if I ventured near TDR. You will find me at The Diesel Stop.

SRI Ken,

Next door neighbor has a 2004 PSD, tows a Malibu boat to the river every summer. He's more into show and I'm more into go. Went over to Camping World today, picked up a Sewer Solution, due to reading the forums here, a cover to keep the new trailer roof nice in this So Cal sun, and a few odds and ends, have most of the things we need, didn't really need the SS but wanted one after reading about it. Less than a week to go on the shake down trip, man I feel like its Christmas.

cul,

Casey

Ken:

Welcome! You mentioned Oak Glen...never camped there, but it's probably because we live about 2 miles from there! Hope everything's OK with the misses and daughter...holler if you get close and come by and say 'hi'!
