Howdy from Texas

Howdy Folks,
We are newly retired and planning on transitioning from living in a 1700 square feet house to 400 square feet on wheels. Next year we begin our new journey. Planning to spend our time volunteering with NOMADS and will be workamping as we travel.

We have three fur babies who will travel with us. Cody - Golden Retriever, Qianna - Standard Poodle and Patches - Calico.

Hi Jerry & Carol! Congrats on the retirement! We finally did that in April, 2010, and I highly recommend it! Wish we could get enough nerve to sell the stick house and go fulltime! By the way, isn't Texas that state that our next president, Perry, is from

Yep jminyard Texas is that state. Selling the S/B for us is a no brainer because we cannot afford to keep paying a mortgage on an empty house. If we get tired of traveling, we will just park the fiver and live where we park it.
What do you know about Helfin, MS? We are looking at a workamp gig there.
Thanks

Welcome aboard to iRV2. Try to make it to one of the Texas Boomers rallies.

Jerry & Carol, glad you joined in, if you get the chance please feel free to join in one of our Rallies or Campouts, we would enjoy your visit. Retired here also, just don't think we could full-time yet. Good Luck and have safe travels.
