Howdy From Texas!

I'm Maggie from near Houston/Clear Lake area. I've been a tent camper since my Girl Scout days some years ago. This year my boyfriend and I decided that trailer camper might be the way to go since camping in the summer in Texas is not necessarily pleasant in a tent.

I just purchased a Sportsmen Classic 16BH which is barely big enough for the 2 of us plus our 2 furbabies - 100# dogs, Jasmine and Oscar. Jazz has already decided that she and I really can share the bunk if I mash myself up against the wall

I tow the trailer with a Ford F-150 Super Crew so we have plenty of room for the dogs to go along.

As a newbie to the TT world, I'm sure I will have lots of questions as I go along.

Hi Maggie and welcome! There are several of us in the Houston area. Check out the Texas Boomers in the South Central section. We are having a campout this weekend at Coushatte RV Ranch in Bellville. There's still room so come join us!

Thanks for the invite, but I'm getting on an airplane Friday morning to head for Atlanta for some time with my mom and the love of my life - my niece. I hope to maybe make a weekend early after the first of the year.

We have a rally in November, but it is full up I believe. Then we have the Christmas Rally south of San Antonio.

I will try to make a rally after the first of the year. Going into the "Life Gets Crazy" time of year. I'm not even sure if I will get some camping time in until Christmas week when we plan on taking it out.
