Howdy from Western Colorado

New to RV world. We have done a lot of travel including some "just plane camping". I am upgrading the solar system now, and can use some experienced help.

A bit late, but...

Interesting dingy on the hitch of your RV.

There is an owner of an Outlaw RV (class A Toy Hauler) that travels with a Scorpion helicopter in the garage.

Very cool.

Safe travels

Thanks for the good words! I looked into helicopters, but their fuselage length exceeds 20 feet. Too long of a rig for the state park and boondocking style of camping that we enjoy doing. Gyrocopters are short. Mine is has a 12 ft fuselage. Gyro can do almost anything a helicopter can do, except hover and take off vertically, and have MUCH LESS moving and complicated parts, thus much cheaper to fly. They are being used a lot by ranchers in Australia and S. Africa, and numerous police departments world-wide.

I can take off in 300 ft, and land in 10 ft. Fully enclosed, heated cabin, Subaru engine using auto gas. Purchase price of my (3 previous owner) 2003 model was just $20K, although I plan to upgrade after a year or so. Works for me, and I don't need to quit flying "cold turkey" as we tour!
