Talking Hubby & I and our new 1999 National RV Seaview

Hello, I am so excited to own an RV. We bought it on Monday and pick it up this Saturday! Neither John nor I have ever traveled in an RV, we took our first ride in one only a week ago. After a few weeks of looking and researching RV's we found what we were looking for in our price range and couldn't be happier! I plan to head over to the National RV forum and read and also ask questions....LOVE to learn as much as possible before we take our maiden ride and also for the many years to come traveling and camping.

Take care ~Linda
PS: if anyone wants to direct me to some of the most important threads on RVing I would appreciate it.

Linda, welcome to iRV2.com. We are glad to have you join us here and we look forward to helping you with you new lifestyle. Congratulations on your new Sea View. I think the most important things would be safety and having fun. Are you buying from a dealer? If so take your time during the walk through as you will have a lot to learn. Make notes and even video tape it, if they will let you. DO NOT leave the dealership until everything is working to your satisfaction. Take care and keep us posted.

Linda;

Welcome to iRv2. Congratulations on your new to you MH. Your post brings back some pleasant and exciting memories of our decision to purchase our first one. I believe you have found the friendliest site on the Internet. Post often and tell us about your travel experiences. Don't be afraid to ask questions as we have a wealth of information available to you just by asking.

Don

Hi Linda,

Like you and your hubby, my wife and I are brand new RVers. We took delivery of our 1998 Newmar DS38 a couple of weeks ago in Arizona. Our maiden trip was simply bringing it home to the New Orleans area to get ready to travel. We leave June 14th for Colorado via Texas and Oklahoma and then Utah and hopefully points west.

Good luck with your first trip. I hope it will go as well as ours did. Their are so many nice people you meet along the way. Everyone is very helpful.

Congratulations Linda. DW and I are on our third MH in the past year. It just keeps getting better. Excellent information here on what you'll need to fill all those basement compartments.
