To this forum and to the RV lifestyle. Never had one before but it seemed like a good idea as me and the Mrs. loved to camp. Two years ago she told me she was done camping unless we got an RV. Seems she didn't like sleeping on the ground in a tent anymore or having to haul her house around in tote containers.

So, off I went into the new world of RV's and did some research. Ended up with a slightly used Alfa SeeYa! 5VR which isn't totally shaken down yet. Heck, it was so slightly used it still smelled new and there was still plastic covering the mattress.

Anyway, nice to have found this forum and to be here. I'm sure I'll learn a lot just from reading your posts!

I'm sure she will be more satisfied in the 5er than the tent. Those Alfa's are nice.

Just joined today after looking around a bit. Found some extremely useful infomation and enjoyable reading. We went from a motorcycle and trailer camper straight to Class A DP (97 Dutchstar). This was four years ago and have thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. I'm currently doing some upgrades by adding interior trim and alsways looking for ideas in that area. I was also looking to build some slide trays in the cargo area. I have some specific ideas on that, but the slides are fairly spendy afterall.
We pull an 03 VW diesel as well as the cycle on a drop trailer built for that purpose.
Anyway, I look forward to sharing and learning.
