....OLD MEMBER CHECKING BACK IN, but didn't find that one. So I thought I would just make my first post right here.

Not too much has changed in the last eleven months, except that I finished a master's degree in education with a 4.0 GPA in my major study which was special education. I am now dually certified to teach Music K-12 and Special Education N-12 in both State of Ohio and Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. As par for the course, eleven months ago I was under the stress of being a full-time graduate student, full-time substitute teacher, and full-time father. For those eleven months, my camping trips were on again, off again depending upon coursework and finances.

But alas, I hope that this post marks the beginning of good times ahead. We currently still have the vintage PUP, but are shopping for a TT. It is my hope to have a TT before the next camping season begins, and be able to get out camping more with my friends; aka the Pond Piggies.

I look forward to rekindling old relationships and friendships, but perhaps with a new outlook.

Sincerely,
George Miklas, M.Ed.

P.S.: I had the opportunity to view the floor plan of the Winnebago Sightseer 35J. If a MH were in the near future, that would likely be the one. GM

George, let me be the first of many to welcome you back to iRV2.
We look forward to you getting those "pond piggies" back in line and also keeping an "eye" out
for Joe-K.... If you aren't "sure" what that reference is to,Joe can tell ths story better!!

We look forward to hearing more of your thoughts on when and if you will bite the bullet and pick up a travel trailer...

As you are most likely aware of, we have created a series of regional "areas" for the various camping groups within that region.... Your "pond piggies" have your very own area to post current events and future get togethers in and I know you'll jump in and get planning the next regional gathering....

Be nice to Bill....he and I are having "issues" with our new rigs...

If I can help in any way, do not hesitate to contact me...

George,as Bill is headed to NY with the rest of the Piggies, he most likely won't be online, although one eyed Joe will relate the posts to him...

Bill's new Vectra is suffering from several gremlins.....the CD player doesn't work and several other electrical issues...

I don't remember them all as I've been fighting a refrigerator issue in my own buggy that looks like the only "fix" is a new refrigerator...

Welcome old friend . Hope we can camp together some day, like we did in the past. Congrats on your Masters. I know you will do well. Later

Many congratulations, George. You've been dedicated & worked really hard so you, Jodi & the kids should be real proud.

We look forward to seeing you. Check the North Central forum for us - that's where the Pond Piggies got merged into.

How is it one careless match can start a forest fire but it takes a whole box to start a campfire?

Glad to see you back George. I understand the stress of going to school, work and family. My son-in-law is finishing up nursing school, working 24+ hours per week as an EMT in a local emergency room, trying to move his #5 in class position up and is his class president. Our daughter is always glad when he can be home.

Now you can relax.

Congratulations to you George. We often look back to the group of us irv2 members who got together for a weekend at The Niagara Falls KOA.
