I'm a little S L O W......

Hi gang! I joined the forum about 2 weeks ago and just realized I should have stopped by here and introduced myself. My name is Alex, and I have just bought a 1993 Coachmen Santara class C, 29 ft. This is the DWs and mine first foray into the RVing lifestyle and we are looking forward to it immensely. It's been my dream since childhood to own a motorhome, so I'm really excited. I'm clueless about owning one of these, and the dealership I purchased it from didn't know much more, but that helped in the negotiating because I did my research for about a year, and got it for an amazing price. It has it's flaws, but what one doesn't? I hope you all can bear with us, and any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks for reading, and looking forward to making alot of new fiends!!

From one newcomer to another, welcome. Having just picked up our coach last spring I found the fastest way to learn is get on the road and use it. You will make mistakes, like all of us, but it will be great fun learning.

Take your time, relax, and pile up the memories.

Welcome to the forum.

Just wondering about your awning. Looking at your photo it seems like the top rail is hanging against the coach. Is your top awning bracket broken? It should look like this.

Yes it is hanging. The inner arm and mechanism that connects the top rail to the awning is missing.
