Good evening , I just purchased my third Winnebago , a 2002 Anventurer and I'm trying to get it ready for a trip to Branson Mo.
It has a V10 engine , and I'm like a wided eye kid with it . I'm trying to get use to the slight sway it has

and I'm guessing it needs shocks but it only has 26000 miles on it , or thats the ride Ford has on this 33 ft coach .
I really like this site and hope to get some real good answers on my plight . THANK YOU , TOMMY TUCER

Congratulations on the purchase of your Adventure. I am sure you will enjoy it very much as I believe Winnebago makes great coaches. I will admit I am a little biased however. Welcome to the forum Tommy! And, congrats on your new rig.

You might want to use our search function to find suggestions on how to improve the handling of your rig. You might try key words like sway, sway bar, steering stablizers, and shocks. Much has been written here about the topic. By far the cheapest thing to do which often helps out a lot is to focus your attention while driving much farther down the road than you are used to doing. Sometimes when one is getting used to driving a Class A for the first time, the tendancy is to focus too closely on the road right in front of you leading to over corrections.

Tommy--retired trucker after 37 yrs on the road, when i frist started driving truck a friend told me to look ahead far enough to see thedark shadded area in the middle of your lane (and sort of put your arse on it) it ddoes work my son was having troubledriving one of our open wheel modifieds i told to look farther ahead he got faster.

Welcome aboard. The rolling from side to side can be helped with stiffer anti-roll bars. Check Hellwig and Roadmaster. Some people call them sway bars.

Better shocks at the same time will help.
