My RV experience:
1993: New Viking popup. Didn't like the popup experience, sold it the next year. Since a baby came along, didn't get another RV for a few years.
1999: Bought 1984 16' trailer.
2001: Bought 1990 27' Class C Damon Escaper
2006: After a 17-day trip in 100 F daily heat in the Four Corners area with no generator on the Damon decided to check out a newer motorhome. Damon fridge went out the year before and was running a cheap elec fridge off an inverter.
2006: Bought a 1997 32' Itasca Sunrise Class A. Had a lot of problems with this motorhome so didn't keep it long. Also everyone missed the Class C over cab bunk.
2007 (just three weeks ago): Bought a 2000 Gulfstream Conquest Sport 28' Class C with only 9700 miles on it. The more I look this rig over, the more I like it. I even think it is better constructed than the Itasca. For example, the dinette benches in the Itasca were wood framed. The Gulfstream has aluminum tubing framing for the dinette benches. Nicely laid out too.
