I'm new to this forum "North to the Yukon"

I purchased a new 2015 Ford Transit 350 HD High Roof extended body. About 4 months ago I began the tranformation of the cargo van in to a full blown RV. I'm a retired general contractor and Vietnam Veteran in Florida. I have done 100% of the work so far! However, a general contractor has general knowledge on all aspects of construction, but is not a master of any trades, except maybe for carpentry! So I will ask for any help on A/C, Solar, Generator, Batteries and Electrical. The other areas such as holding tanks, mechanicals etc. too!
My motto is "North to the Yukon"! I was in British Columbia last summer and at Whistler, skiing last month. Both were via the airlines and a rental car and some great hotels our way! Great scenery and plenty of spots to stop for 2 or 3 days! But in a week you can't do that! Making reservations for hotels on the go is not fun. We fell in love with British Columbia and want to travel the best route north to the Yukon then West to Alaska.

Now that I'm retired I look forward to the challenge of building out the Transit. Getting it ready for cold weather. I started with the floor insulation!
I have photos of the progress to be posted soon! Anyone heading to the Yukon from Florida?
