I'm surprised I haven't found this group before now!
You guys seem to be a great crowd! I see a lot of good posts with helpful replies here - I hope I can contribute over time. I'm a 2 Rv owner - a 2003 Fleetwood Expedition (home), and a Safari Serengeti in storage - both 38 footers - long story, don't ask  I've been fulltiming for about 12 years, have campfires a good percentage of every week, love barbequeing and mountain biking. The RV'ing, camping life is great. I wouldn't trade my front window view of the lake for a house, unless the need for a garage really gets to me. I live at an RV resort and get to meet new and interesting people almost every day. Lots of nature around. I'm blessed with great neighbors, so I feel very lucky.

K - the reason for the second one is that I bought my current one from a private seller who didn't want a trade-in. No one seems to want a rig without a slideout these days. And I'm down to half of what I paid for it. I've considered getting a property where I can park them door to door and build a deck in between. That way I don't lose my investment, and I have 2 living rooms, 2 bedrooms, etc.

Welcome. It's hard enough to keep up with one much less than two. Back some years ago I did see the side to side done on a couple of older model travel trailers in an old RV park. From what little I could see it looked like a partial wall removal was done to create a larger living/family room.

Oh, jeez, that sounds like a lot of work  I'm just thinking of a deck from steps to steps, maybe with something similar to what you see on a passenger ramp to seal between the two and keep the heat in or out. It's just a thought, but I have doubts that I'll ever actually do it. Right now the other one is just sitting in storage costing me $110 a month.
