Welp! My husband and I are new to this site. I do most of the communicating, but I read most of the items with my husband. We own a 2005 Chev. Silverado HD Crew Cab, we tow a 2004 Trail Bay travel trailer, model 27DS. My husband and I are in the age of the middle fourtys. We have two children ages of 24 and 20. And our baby is a 1 1/2 miniature female poodle, who travels everywhere with us. We live in Califorina, around the Sacramento area. Both my husband and I work full time jobs, so our Rving is mostly weekends or extended weekends. The trailer is what I call our mid life crisis and the dog helps us with the empty nest syndrome. We are happy and enjoying our lives, Once we hit the retirement age we plan on getting a heavier 5th Wheel trailer and look into full timing in the trailer. For now our trailer is a good size and answer all our needs. The trailer is rated at 30ft long which can fit in almost any Rv park or campground. We mostly dry camp, but have done full service(or hook-up) a few times, actually the more we hook up to electric and sewer the more I like it . Our favorite place to go is to Doran Beach in Bodega, Ca. ...until later

Happy Campers,
I believe you may have one of the most complete Introductions I have ever read. Good job.

I really like Bodega Bay as well.
I have traveled that area a lot.
The Steinbeck Museum, the Guerneville area of the Russian River, and having brunch at the C.I.A. (Culinary Institute) are great spots as well around there.
