Investigating RVs

I am about to retire soon and my wide and I are exploring the RV option - it is a lot to take in but it seems to be the way we want to go. Thanks for this site of valuable information.

It is different, if you are not sure you want to do rent first. If you decide you do not care for it it can save you some money, although renting is not cheap. It will also give you an idea what size you would want to live in/drive (and it might not be the same )

You said, "...my WIDE and I..." You might want to reword that statement. ...just sayin'

But then I'm just stirrin' the pot!

Anyway,

Welcome! We're new too, fixing up a huge old RV. Hubby purchased it cheap and however it is to drive, this is what I will have to learn to like driving.

I think renting to test the waters is a great thing. I've found that to be the best idea for car buying too. My last car I rented and drove each car I was seriously considering for a weekend and did some long drives and tested out how it felt to live with them, and that made choosing easy in the end. I suspect renting an RV could be a lot like that.

Hope you have fun with it!
