I t has been perhaps more than a year since my last visit but I purchased a brand new 09 Winnebago Journey 34Y last May. Since then I have been super busy, not being able to take as many trips as I wanted but that is about to change.

Over the past year I've dealt with what could be called the usuals; not show stopping problems but some that have been going on an on so I just fixed them myself.

The trips I have made were wonderful. We full time in the MH and love it. Since I'm about to have a lot of time available to me the project list can finally start getting done although fro each project finished, it seems another two crop up.

First is my solar install. I will do it myself after having seen that most installation prices can easily pay for much better equipment, better batteries and so on. I also want to get a sunroof put in. My wife wants more sun, not less and where we tend to be most of the time, heat isn't an issue. In fact, the hotter it gets the more she likes it.

I'm going to replace the OEM shocks the first chance I get, hopefully in August since the standard Sachs aren't up to snuff. Maybe some Bilsteins or Konis but I'm in research mode right now.

We really like the Journey but as many of you have probably also experienced, most things are better fixed by the owner, at least it gets done right.

So here I am.
