I live in North Carolina and drove 763 miles to look at a 2012 Winnebago Via with 8000 miles on it. Worst rains I can remember driving in. Call me crazy but I just could not take someones word on perfect condition. Turned out to be an excellent unit. So 763 miles on Wed and 763 on Thursday and to work at 6pm. I am still a couple of years away from retirement but this will give me a chance to learn a lot about RV 101. Flying back up in a week to drive it home. I will probably be asking the forum a lot of questions.

Thanks

Thanks to everyone

I appreciate the welcome and I am sure I will have a bunch of questions. Next sat morning I will start talking to myself and hopefully answering myself. Its probably going to be a wild trip back.

I can understand checking it out firsthand. I did 1600 miles one way to get mine and make sure it was decent. Did it in 2 days on the way back as well. All rain/wind the 1st, bad snow the 2nd day. Work the next day...

Im brand new! Yesterday bought my "new" 37ft 2008 monaco cayman diesel pusher, pick it up tuesday. I live in Pinehurst and now need to find some indoor or covered storage for my rig, not allowed in the village. I dont suppose you know of anything around the pinehurst/sandhills area?
