Just Checking In

Greetings to all,

Always have been an avid outdoorsman and camper having lived in Alaska for the last 22 winters, then finally retired and moved down to WA state to start the defrosting cycle.

Originally was a minimalist camper but as age slowly crept up, started to look for creature comforts in form of better shelter from the elements and a bit of warmth on those long dark cold nights.

Still camp out with the Land Cruiser with a roof top tent when going into the unbeaten paths and for the less demanding sites we have pulled a Keystone Outback 28KRS for the longest time.
However; what we have found through our more recent road/camping trips with the grandchildren in the truck, this is not the best nor most comfortable way for them to travel. We are now changing gears and are seriously considering either a Class A or C toy hauler to give our grandchildren the comfort and safety they need as well as allowing us the option to carry our two and four wheeled toys along.

With all that being said, I am currently looking for a Diesel Class A Toy Hauler platform and have found it to be a daunting task with limited selection and even more limited used supply market. In the process of diligently searching the web for clues, I have come across your website and in particular the Class A Toy Hauler Forum. Started reading a bit and already am amazed at the wealth of knowledge being displayed.

Looking forward to getting to know some of the forum members along the road.

Welcome from another Frank and WA resident. We've lived in Western WA for all but three of the years we've been in the USA (Des Moines/Kent, Bothell, Everett and now Anacortes). We emigrated from the UK in mid-1968.

Unfortunately, we've had to give up the RV life because of cost.
