Just found this group!

We bought a new-to-us 2000 Coachmen Catalina late last summer and had our maiden voyage late May to mid June. We traveled from WI to NC to see our DD and grands whose daddy is deployed once again. We had a great trip and learned a lot. Hubby did a lot of work fixing and reinforcing the hitch, added safety locks on our new open wheel trailer that we tow w/our Ford Escape on it. He installed the tranny module from Banks before we left, replaced the old TV in front w/a new digital one along with 2 new front tires and once by DD he installed new front shocks. We are constantly finding things to fix/change and improve our rig so eventually we can travel a couple months at a time once hubby retires. We are excited to start our new adventures after many years of tent camping, which have been great memories for us and our kids. We hope to help make some good memories for our grandkids as well.

Hi crimmps49, welcome to you and family to the forum. Safe journies and the safe return of son-in-law to you and us. Our salutes and warmest "Welcome Home" on his return.
